Day 1 EMBARKATION: 12:00 PM (Lunch | Dinner)

Arrive Dhaka & Sightseeing : Upon arrival in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, embark on a panoramic drive tour of Central Dhaka, taking in the historic landmarks such as Dhaka University, the National Assembly, and the Old High Court. Explore the Dhakeshwari Temple, venerating the goddess Dhakeshwari, guardian of Dhaka. Enjoy lunch at a nearby local restaurant before continuing your journey to Sonargaon, the medieval capital of undivided Bengal. Discover the charms of Panam City, explore the Folk Art Museum housed in Sadarbari, and admire the architectural beauty of the Goaldi Mosque. Finally, head to the jetty and board the ship to continue your adventure. Dinner & overnight onboard Ganga Vilas.

Day 2 DHAKA – BARISAL (Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner)

Today, we embark on a full-day journey to Barisal, savoring breakfast and lunch while marveling at the scenic countryside. Along the way, we'll delight in the sight of coconut palms, banana and mango trees lining the shore, as well as fishermen casting their nets. We'll also observe small freighters making their way upstream, laden with gravel, bricks, and sand. Additionally, we'll witness noukas ferrying passengers across the river. By evening, we'll arrive in Barisal, affectionately known as the Venice of Bengal. Dinner & overnight onboard Ganga Vilas.

Day 3 BARISAL (Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner)

Following breakfast, we'll explore a Floating Market, famous for its abundance of fruits, particularly guava. Afterward, we'll return to the ship for lunch. Following our meal, we'll visit the Oxford Epiphany Church, an Anglican church renowned as one of the oldest and perhaps the second largest church in Asia. Dinner & overnight onboard Ganga Vilas.

Day 4 BARISAL – KAUKHALI (Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner)

This morning we sail to Kaukhali, a small riverine village in the Barisal district of Bangladesh. It has a launch & steamer station which date from British period. Post lunch visit a Kumar Pada (potters’ colony), the local market, and a Hindu Vaishnavite temple with a Cremation Ground adjacent to it. Return to ship and sail onward to Barisal, which is fondly called the Venice of Bengal. Dinner & overnight onboard Ganga Vilas.

Day 5 KAUKHALI – KARAMJOL – MONGLA (Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner)

Today's journey takes us to Karamjol. We'll take a country boat ride to the Karamjol Forest Reserve Centre, which safeguards a diverse array of mammal, insect, bird species, reptiles, and fish. Visitors may also catch glimpses of Gangetic River dolphins and salt-water crocodiles in the area. Following our exploration, we'll return to the ship for lunch. Then, we'll continue sailing towards Mongla town, a pivotal seaport and the primary gateway to the Sundarbans on the Bangladesh side. Dinner & overnight onboard Ganga Vilas.

Day 6 MONGLA – ANTIHARA (Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner)

Following breakfast, we will journey to the Sixty Domed Mosque, a distinguished World Heritage Site often hailed as "one of the most remarkable Muslim monuments in the entire Indian subcontinent." Afterward, we'll return to the ship for lunch and set sail for Antihara, the designated check post for Bangladesh's Immigration & Customs formalities. Dinner & overnight onboard Ganga Vilas.

Day 7 ANTIHARA – HEMNAGAR (Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner)

Today, our voyage takes us through the wildlife-rich expanse of the Sundarbans towards the Indian sector of the Sundarbans, where we will reach Hemnagar. Here, we'll encounter the check-post for Customs formalities, facilitating the crossing of the international riverine border between India and Bangladesh. Dinner & overnight onboard Ganga Vilas.

Day 8 HEMNAGAR – BALI ISLAND (Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner)

If time allows, we'll explore a nearby Watchtower before continuing our journey to Bali Island, enjoying breakfast and lunch onboard. Bali represents a quintessential Sundarbani village, where residents are primarily involved in farming, paddy husking, honey packing, and fishing. Dinner & overnight onboard Ganga Vilas.

Day 9 SUNDARBANS: SUDHANYAKHALI-DOBANKI & BALI ISLAND (Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner)

Following an early breakfast, we'll embark on local boat excursions to visit the Sudhanyakhali and Dobanki Watchtowers. Dobanki presents an opportunity for a canopy walk elevated 20 feet from the ground. Afterward, we'll return to the ship for lunch. Later, we'll take a leisurely walk through the village of Bali, engaging with the locals. Additionally, we'll have the chance to witness a tribal dance performance onboard the ship. Day 10 BALI – EN ROUTE TO NAMKHANA (Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner)

This morning, we'll navigate through the creek to reach Bhagabatpur Island, where we'll visit the crocodile project featuring a hatchery and sanctuary for estuarine crocodiles. Following our exploration, we'll proceed with our sail towards Namkhana, making occasional stops along the way. Dinner & overnight onboard Ganga Vilas.

Day 11 NAMKHANA – KOLKATA (Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner)

Early in the morning, contingent upon tide conditions, we embark on a full-day sail towards Kolkata. As we bid farewell to the Bay of Bengal, our journey will take us past historical monuments and sites that evoke memories of the colonial era. By evening, we will arrive at the jetty in Kolkata, concluding our voyage. Dinner & overnight onboard Ganga Vilas.

Day 12 KOLKATA DEPARTURE (Breakfast | Lunch)

In the morning, take a leisurely walk along the jetty. After lunch, disembark from the ship and transfer to the airport or hotel for your onward journey. Important Program Notes:
